2007 - Received Premium Award from the Master Saddlers, Saddle and Bridle Competition.
1996 - 2000 - Designed and crafted the saddles for the Manchester constabulary, one of the largest mounted police forces in the United Kingdom.
1996 - Commissioned to design a light weight saddle called the Flyover for Olympic rider Ian Stark for the 1996 Olympics. One of the best selling event saddles in the world, used by
International standard riders. The flyover saddle went on to win Best New Product at the BETA 2000 show.
1985 - Promoted to Manager of one of Britain’s most renowned and long established saddlery manufacturers, introducing new models and manufacturing techniques to the company.
1980 to 1982 - Demonstrated leather work at a Harrods department store in Knightsbridge, London.
1978 - Awarded 2nd place in Saddler of the Year.
1977 - Awarded 1st place in Saddler of the Year.
1975 - Assisted in the craftsmanship of a leather boat which was then sailed from Ireland to United States of America by Tim Severin, to test the 6th century voyage of St Brendan.
